My name is Emad Hussein, and I am from Palestine. My original language is Arabic. I have lived here in Texas for a year. I came here to achieve my goal of learning a new language and study at a great university like Texas A&M University. I hope to graduate from this great university with a high score. I love my family. They are important people in my life. My Mom and Dad are still living in my home country. Also, my friends are the basic necessities in my life. Most of my time I am spending with them. Friends are something golden in your life. I love soccer whatever playing or watching. I like birds and cats.
My goals at Blinn College, I have a good time, because I start working on my goal to learn English. First, I hope to gain my experience. I want to take courses that can help my language in Reading, Writing, and Speech so I can make a transfer to A&M University. My dad studied Chemical Engineering at Corpus Christi University, and graduated from it and then he left. He preferred living in Palestine.
My grandma Siryah loves me a lot. And I love her. We were living with her when I was a kid. Now she is living with Mom and Dad in Palestine. She is awesome, and she always wishes the best in my life. She left Texas with my father on Jun 24, 2018.
My only cousin in this city “College Station”, is named Tawfik. He is older than me by 4 years. He is Studying Engineering at A&M University. We are like brothers and friends. We are living in the same house. We spend time together and we joke together. He always helps me. I am proud of him. I am happy because I have a great cousin.
I like natural views and calm places where I can think clearly. I like the whole kind of movement sports, such as Swimming, Volleyball, and Basketball. Also, I still do exercises. I wanting to learn American Football. Because there are a lot of people who love it. I wish to know and expand my knowledge about this kind of sport.
I like music but without words. I do not care about the words in the song.
I have been working with McDonald’s for 8 months. When I started I did not know the system. It is the first job or work for me. I got many good things. First, I got experience, knowledge and how can control or deal with the different situation with customers or employers. That can help you your whole life. My goal was learning English Language and American accent from this work. I have some skills, but I think the best is learning quickly. I always thank my Lord on this thing. Now I know all positions in McDonald’s, maybe after 2 or 3 months I will be an assistant manager. I do not like to remain in the same position. I prefer to change or improve it.
I like to help people and respect all of the kind of people. They are here a lot of people help me. this gives me some confidence.
